Shift Details: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) . No on call; weekend rotation required.
Qualifications & Experience
California RN License
BLS (AHA)
ACLS
NIHSS
TNCC*, CCRN*
Minimum 3 years ICU experience (4 years preferred)
Experience with arterial line management, chest tube, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product, ventilated patient care, central line, acute renal failure, continuous IV sedation, stroke management, CVVHD/CRRT, ECMO, EVD, FloTrac, GI surgery, HFNC, hypothermia protocol, ICP monitoring, infection prevention, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, PPE, insulin protocols, multisystem organ failure, neuro ICU, PICC, post‑neurosurgery, procedural sedation, pulmonary artery line, sheath removal, spinal injury, IV start, suctioning, surgical ICU, drips, TAVR, TBI, valve repair, LVAD/RVAD support, etc.
Responsibilities
Provide critical care nursing care for ICU patients, including advanced life support.
Manage ventilator settings and mechanical ventilation strategies.
Perform and assist with procedures such as central line insertion, chest tube insertion, arterial line placement, etc.
Administer medications, blood products, and maintain accurate charting using Epic system.
Coordinate interdisciplinary support and respond to rapid response teams.
Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality reporting.
Work Details
Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week. Shift times: 07:00-19:30. Weekend coverage required.
Location: San Francisco, CA. Travel within 50 miles; locals accepted at lower rate.
Additional Requirements
Travel compliance per company policy.
Valid state license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certificates in hand.
Epic charting experience preferred.
Background screening required; any DUI or other violations disclosed prior to submission.
7‑year work history verification requested.
