Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Care Unit
Contract: 13 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Care Unit Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Chico, California. This role supports medium to high-acuity cardiac patients, including pre-operative and post-operative cardiovascular cases, telemetry cardiac patients, and patients requiring a higher level of nursing care.
Provide nursing care to cardiovascular and cardiac progressive care patients.
Monitor patients with cardiac diagnoses, MI, CHF, arrhythmias, pacemakers, and post-surgical needs.
Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as ordered.
Support pre-operative and post-operative cardiac care needs.
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
Float to other units, including Med/Surg, as needed.
Active California Registered Nurse license required.
Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required.
EPIC charting experience required.
Successful completion of prior travel assignments required.
Cardiac Progressive Care, CVICU, Cardiovascular ICU, Telemetry Cardiac, or Critical Care experience preferred.
Day shift and holiday coverage availability required.
