Journeyman Electrician

We specialize in complex medium and high‑voltage electrical infrastructure across North America.

We are seeking an experienced and safety‑focused Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high‑voltage electrical systems (typically 600 V to 500 kV) in utility, substation, power plant, and industrial environments.

Install, terminate, and test high‑voltage cables, conductors, breakers, and transformers.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, one‑lines, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.

Perform maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and protection/control systems.

Execute grounding and bonding practices for high‑voltage installations.

Work around live equipment while adhering to lockout/tagout and arc‑flash safety protocols.

Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and engineers to ensure work is completed to spec and on schedule.

Complete documentation for quality control and safety compliance.

Train and mentor apprentices as needed.

Valid Journeyman Electrician license.

Solid knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA 1910/1926 standards.

Comfortable working at heights and in varying field conditions.

Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).

Experience in substation or power generation environments.

NCCER Electrical or related craft certifications.
