Job Description Radiation Therapist – Radiation Oncology Location: Newport Beach, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
Remote: No
Travel: Travel between Newport Beach and Irvine locations required
Compensation: $89.00 per hour
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to support the Radiation Oncology Department within the Hoag Family Cancer Institute. Under the direction of the Radiation Oncology Manager, the Radiation Therapist will assist with tumor localization, participate in treatment planning, and deliver prescribed ionizing radiation treatments to patients in accordance with Radiation Oncologist instructions.
Deliver high-dose ionizing radiation treatment to patients as prescribed by Radiation Oncologists.
Localize tumors and participate in treatment planning.
Maintain working knowledge of specialized instrumentation, quality control requirements, and preventive maintenance procedures.
Experience as a Radiation Therapist in a radiation oncology setting.
Current California Department of Health Services Radiologic Technologist license – Therapeutic .
Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy or equivalent recognized by ARRT.
