Production Machinist - Part-time weekend shift

Volt is immediately hiring multiple Machinists in Tempe, AZ for both full-time and part-time weekend positions. Move forward with Volt!
As a Machinist, you will:

Perform machine set-ups on various CNC equipment.
Operate and oversee multiple machines throughout the shift in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
Work primarily on large mill and lathe projects, typically involving 50 parts or fewer per job.
Utilize and maintain machines such as Bridgeport, DMG MORI, and 3-Axis Mills.
Support operations involving horizontal mills and lathes.
Manage palletized machine systems, including restocking pallets as needed.
Ensure high-quality output and adherence to production standards.
This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.
Schedule:

Schedule 1 - Monday - Friday - 3:30pm to 12am
Schedule 2 - Friday - Sunday - 5am to 5:30pm
The ideal candidate will have:

Previous CNC machine setup experience.
Experience with horizontal mills, lathes, and large format machining.
Familiarity with CMM programming or PC-DMIS (highly beneficial).
Strong multitasking ability and comfort overseeing multiple machines.
We will also consider candidates with no prior experience who are currently enrolled in a machining or technical program.
Payrate: $24.00 - $37.00 per hour DOE
