RRT Night Shift - Respiratory Care

ICU and Pedi experience, NeonatesBLS required and ACLSPediatric experience preferred/PALS preferredThis Respiratory Tech position is based in Newport, Rhode Island, a classic New England coastal city known for its stunning waterfront, historic charm, and vibrant year-round activities. You will be part of a dedicated respiratory care team that works closely with physicians, nurses, and other disciplines to deliver high-quality, patient-centered services. A typical day may involve providing respiratory treatments at the bedside, managing oxygen therapy, administering aerosolized medications, and performing airway clearance techniques. You will support patients across units such as medical-surgical, telemetry, emergency department, and intensive care, adjusting your interventions to meet diverse needs. Responsibilities can include ventilator setup and monitoring, assisting with intubations, obtaining and processing arterial blood gases, and responding to respiratory-related rapid calls in collaboration with the care team.You will use modern respiratory equipment and work within a structured documentation system using the facility's EMR. Patient assignments and ratios are designed to balance safe, attentive care with the realities of a busy community hospital. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, offering different scheduling options depending on department needs. Registered Respiratory Therapist, Adult Certifications(At least one of the following): BLS, ACLS OR Certified Respiratory Therapist, Adult ICU and Pedi experience, Neonates BLS required and ACLS Pediatric experience preferred/PALS preferred
