This role combines cardiac nursing expertise with telemetry monitoring, focusing on patients who require continuous electronic observation of their heart rhythm. You will play a critical role in detecting and responding to cardiac changes.

Key Responsibilities:

Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment.

Administer medications and perform interventions based on changes in the patient's condition.

Educate patients about post-discharge cardiac care, including medication adherence and lifestyle adjustments.

Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiology and respiratory therapy.

Maintain comprehensive patient records, noting any changes or significant events.

Work Environment:

Primarily in telemetry units or cardiac specialty floors within hospitals.

Requires keen attention to detail, especially in interpreting telemetry data.
