Head of Business Strategy

As a Manager of Corporate Strategy, you will work with the CarMax leadership to help shape the company’s strategy within our Product and Operational departments. Supporting the development of solutions in partnership with our functional experts in each area

Defining the test plan to understand interdependencies between tests, the sequencing of testing, and identifying key performance metrics

Conducting test analysis to understand performance and identifying opportunities to further enhance the initiative

Maintaining a communication strategy to inform all executives on results from strategic initiatives as well as overall business performance

Ability to convert high‑level business objectives into concrete action plans and analytical tasks

Ability to deliver great results while simultaneously managing several projects

Ability to apply business and technical knowledge to solve key business problems

Completion of a four‑year undergraduate degree in a business or quantitative discipline with an excellent academic record; Graduate degree a plus but not required

Experience with strategy formulation, articulation, and implementation

Computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint; SQL experience preferred

This role will be based out of the CarMax Midtown Office (Richmond, VA) and associates will work onsite 4 days per week.
