Wound Care Nurse
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Wound Care Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team at Chicago Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, promoting wound healing, and improving overall health outcomes for our residents. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care treatment plans for residents with wounds or ostomies
Provide comprehensive wound care education to residents and their families
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and achieve desired outcomes
Maintain accurate and detailed records of wound care treatment and progress
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize wound care outcomes and minimize complications
Stay up-to-date with the latest wound care technologies, techniques, and best practices
Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois
Minimum of 5 years of experience in wound care or a related field
Strong knowledge of wound care principles and practices
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
