AECOM is seeking a highly talented Structural Engineer II to contribute to multidisciplinary projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this role, the selected individual will take ownership of clearly defined tasks, coordinate with team members across disciplines, and help maintain quality, budget, and schedule commitments. Qualified candidates will have a strong competency in civil and structural design aspects for heavy industrial clients.
AECOM's broad technical capabilities, global footprint and experience in executing large scale projects uniquely position us to lead in traditional steam, thermal power generation and advanced nuclear technologies. She/he will be expected to work successfully within a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with other project team members. Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
Execute detailed and routine engineering tasks, including preparing structural calculations.
Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budgets and schedules with moderate supervision.
Document work clearly (calculations, markups, redlines) to support quality reviews and project records.
BA/BS in Civil Engineering or related field + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Fundamentals of Engineering (EIT) progress toward licensure encouraged.
Familiarity with common structural analysis and documentation tools.
Prior experience supporting senior engineers on design of open structures.
Relocation is not available for this position.
