Server Position at Backyard Dallas

We are a leading player in the hospitality industry, dedicated to providing exceptional service and ensuring our team members are at the heart of our success. As we continue to expand our presence in the industry, we are seeking a passionate and talented Server to join our team.

As a Server at Backyard Dallas, you will be responsible for providing our guests with best-in-class service, product, and entertainment. You will consistently engage the guests to build rapport and enhance the guest experience while anticipating any additional needs to help ensure each guest has a wonderful and unique visit to our venues. You will play a vital role in both maintaining a positive and productive work environment for our team, while upholding the highest standard of service that defines our brand(s). The Server provides table service to restaurant patrons by taking orders for food and beverages, delivering orders to the table, and ensuring that patrons have a pleasant dining experience.

Greets customers as they are seated at the table; Takes food and beverage orders and delivers them to the kitchen.

Delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to customers.

Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to customers' satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen.

Collects plates and clears the table as customers finish their meals.

Prepares customers' checks and collects payments.

Assists with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.

Previous experience as a server preferred.

Must successfully complete restaurant's training course.

Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
