Hospitalist Physician - Night Shift

Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) is looking for a qualified Intensivist to join Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland to provide physician services to hospital patients. Weekend and holiday rotations required. Evening or night shifts may be required, depending on staff availability.

Moonlighter, Rotating Shift , Hours Varies

Evaluate patients for admission to the hospitalist service. Respond to nursing/pharmacy pages related to intensivist service. Document and code treatment in patient medical records. Report to the oncoming intensivist physician regarding developments during previous shift. Submit documentation of procedures for billing purposes. Report complaints or criticisms regarding intensivist services to the risk management office. Completion of residency program in Internal Medicine. Possession of, or eligibility for, Maryland medical license.

Salary Range: Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. The Hospital reserves the right to modify employee schedules as needed.
