In thisrole, you willassistwith all procurement functions related to the purchasing of materials and supplies, whilemaintainingaccurateand detailed records. Using your strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, you will alsobe responsible forsourcing,initiating,and negotiating material purchases & contracts, spot buys whenappropriate, just in time inventory, while keeping excess inventory a minimum.

Participate in monthly procurement meetings

Report variances to the Purchasing Manager

Month end invoice reconciliation

Contract Negotiations

Report issues regarding vendor product quality, dependability, and service issues

High School Diploma with 3-4 years experience in procurement preferred but not required. Experience working with Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, SAP and Outlook.

Min - High School Diploma (ideal BS Degree)

4 -6 years experience in procurement.

Proven leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills.

Excellent personal computer skills required, especially SAP (ideal), MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)

Able to interact with all levels of employees, management, external and internal customers

Organizational and planning skills, including ability to: prioritize work, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set personal goals and enforce personal deadlines, while maintaining flexibility to reassess and prioritize goals
