The compensation range provided is in compliance with state specific laws. Responsible for receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.

The ideal Candidate will have the ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker; ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift, ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time; ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements; Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.

• Load Merchandise into appropriate truck.
• Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots.
• Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
• Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy.
• Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”.
• Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.
• Performs house keeping duties as assigned.
• Preferred qualifications are: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Previous knowledge of SAP, one year warehouse experience and previous forklift certification.

6 months of previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred.

• Material handling equipment experience preferred.
• Reach truck experience a plus.

Job is performed in a warehouse/operations environment.

• Frequently exposed to fast-moving material handling equipment or other mechanical equipment.
• This is a full-time position.
• Must have the ability to work a varying schedule which might include shift work (days or nights), weekdays or weekends, and some holidays.
• Work hours may vary or change based on customer orders, departmental or business requirements.
• The position does not require travel.
