Registered Nurse, QualityTownsen Memorial Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse, Quality to join our team in our Humble TX location!The Quality Registered Nurse is responsible for leading clinical quality, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives across the organization. This role applies clinical nursing expertise to evaluate care delivery, identify opportunities for improvement, and support evidence-based practice changes. The Quality Nurse participates in clinical data analysis, review of patient care concerns and complaints, regulatory compliance activities, and development of corrective action plans. This role serves as a clinical resource to interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, safe, and compliant patient care.Essential FunctionsApply clinical nursing knowledge to evaluate quality of care, patient outcomes, and safety eventsReview and analyze patient complaints, adverse events, and clinical quality indicators to identify contributing factorsConduct clinical data analysis to identify trends, gaps in care, and opportunities for performance improvementCollaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement corrective action plansSupport and participate in root cause analyses (RCA), failure mode analyses (FMEA), and other patient safety investigationsMonitor clinical compliance with evidence-based standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policiesAssist in development and revision of clinical protocols, policies, and nursing practice standardsParticipate in patient safety rounds, chart reviews, and clinical audits as neededProvide education and coaching to clinical staff related to quality improvement, documentation, and patient safety practicesSupport accreditation and regulatory survey readiness with a clinical focusPrepare clinical quality reports and present findings to leadership and quality committeesParticipate in hospital quality committees, performance improvement teams, and patient safety initiativesKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong clinical nursing knowledge with ability to interpret patient care processes and outcomesUnderstanding of healthcare quality frameworks (e.g., CMS, TJC, AHRQ, patient safety standards)Ability to analyze clinical data and translate findings into actionable improvement strategiesStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in complex clinical environmentsEffective communication skills with clinical and non-clinical stakeholdersKnowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards related to patient care quality and safetyAbility to lead or participate in multidisciplinary quality improvement initiativesStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesEducation and ExperienceAssociates Degree in NursingRegistered Nurse in the State of TexasTwo (2) years of acute care clinical experienceBasic Life Support certifiedBenefits3 Medical Plans2 Dental Plans1 Vision PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramShort and Long-Term Disability InsuranceBasic Voluntary Life with AD&D Plan401(K) with a 2-year vestingPTO + Holidays
