HousekeeperThe Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This position ensures that all areas of the facility are free of obstacles, odors, and debris, contributing to the overall health and comfort of those in our care.Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly.Remove dirt, dust, and food from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers.Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.Follow safety protocols, including using caution signage and storing chemicals securely.Operate cleaning equipment and use supplies according to manufacturer instructions.Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitary.Report any resident safety concerns immediately to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing.Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment.Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude.Work independently or as part of a team to meet facility standards.Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
