PACU Registered Nurse – Pediatric & Adult Recovery in New Orleans, LA

Location: 1514 Jefferson Highway, New Orleans, LA 70121
Shift: Day, 3x12-Hour shifts (08:00 – 20:30)
Employment Type: Travel/Temporary
Hourly Pay Rate: $53.60
- Pay package discussed upon application
- Weekly pay via direct deposit

- Provide post-anesthesia and recovery care for pediatric and adult patients after surgical procedures in a large, high-volume unit
Support patients undergoing regional anesthesia, endoscopy, interventional radiology, and other surgical procedures
Utilize equipment like Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, and Accuvein during patient care
Maintain patient safety and comfort, adhering to protocols and standards of care
Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment
Ensure accurate documentation in Epic and effective handoffs between care phases
Active RN license valid in Louisiana or applicable state
- 1+ years of PACU or pre/post operative nursing experience
- Strong ability to care for pediatric and adult patients across multiple surgical specialties
- This position is located at a leading facility in New Orleans, supporting a busy surgical unit with a focus on pediatric and adult postoperative recovery. The PACU team manages cases across numerous specialties, ensuring safe patient transitions from surgery to discharge.
