The welder is responsible for adding value in the process flow by accurately assembling various components and/or sub-assemblies into specified fixturing and joining by welding or repairing defective welds. Maintenance of a clean and organized workspace and plant proper. Picking and placing components or subassemblies into proper fixturing and joining by the application of GMAW (Gas-Metal-Arc Welding.) Exercising product and process knowledge to identify out-of-conformance situations and alert supervisor or Quality Auditor of these situations in a timely manner. Rotation of position into different production teams as is necessary to meet production schedules and company goals in general. Maintenance of good housekeeping practices always. Ability to set up welding equipment including changing gas.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member works around moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, and conveyer roller lines. In addition, the team member may be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, noise, heat, cold, and wet work while performing job duties. This position requires personal protective equipment such as work gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, cut resistant sleeves, and seasonal gear which will be provided (contingent on position). This is a full-time hourly position, and hours of work and days are decided by production or General Manager. There is no travel with this position.
