Healthcare Registered Nurse (RN) - Part-Time

Veterans Inc., the largest provider of supportive services to Veterans and their families in New England, is seeking to fill the Registered Nurse position and become a valued member of the Veterans Inc. team.

We are offering part‑time (20 hours/week) and per diem positions in our Shrewsbury and Worcester locations.

Responsibilities

Conduct nursing and medication assessments for clients at admission.

Oversee dispensing of medication, monitor patient health progress, and coordinate care.

Deliver health education groups and provide case management services.

Provide medication education, administer medications as ordered, and maintain accurate accounting of all medication received and dispensed.

Safekeep medication stock and complete records required by the DEA, FDA, and Board of Pharmacy.

Collect and process urine specimens, manage test results, and ensure completion of all required forms.

Provide patient education on health‑related issues individually and in group environments.

Attend and participate in all required meetings.

Qualifications

Minimum associate’s degree from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s degree valued.

Current and valid Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse.

Current CPR certification.

Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred; substance abuse treatment experience valued.

Pass a CORI/background records check.

Compliance with Veterans Inc. COVID‑19 vaccination policy (exemptions considered).

Salary: $40 per hour.
