Southeast Georgia Health System is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical to join our 5 Surgical Tower team in Brunswick, GA on the night shift . Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to medical-surgical patients
Manage assigned patient care using sound clinical judgment and evidence-based practices
Deliver care utilizing standardized guidelines, appropriate resources, and interdisciplinary collaboration
Monitor, assess, and respond to patient conditions, including post-surgical care, wound care, injuries, and observation needs
Communicate effectively with physicians, care teams, patients, and families to ensure optimal outcomes
Promote safety, quality, and service excellence at all times
Develop nursing diagnoses and individualized plans of care, including patient and family education
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with Health System policies
Evaluate and reassess nursing interventions and revise care plans as needed
Graduate of a Diploma, Associate, or Bachelors Degree in Nursing program
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia
ACLS, PALS, or NRP, as applicable to unit, within 6 months of hire
Strong clinical judgment and nursing skills compliant with Georgia nursing practice laws
Ability to care for patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and elderly populations
