Logistician - Inventory

Responsibilities

Ship receive and inventory of designated assets, including procurement and product monitoring in accordance with government requirements.

Record details of incoming and outgoing items in a system, including quantities, product codes, and dates; maintain, track, and verify Global Combat Support System Army (or other designated government system) property hand receipt and inventory on a regular basis.

Provide inventory support for accountable and non‑accountable property, including scanning accountable property by government property book personnel to achieve accurate collection of assigned barcoded items.

Execute logistics policies and SOPs, streamlining requests for equipment, shipping, and operational support.

Facilitate organizational and operational needs, including safety, security, property, facilities, and maintenance, coordinating schedules to avoid impacts on other mission operations.

Maintain accountability of all assigned assets using government identified databases and tracking systems.

Ensure all assets entering or leaving the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) are properly tracked, accounted for, and compliant with SCIF requirements.

Maintain equipment throughout its life by scheduling and forecasting calibration, verifying timeframes, and cycling equipment to reduce mission impact, tracking historical data and forms such as shipping, warranty, calibration, turn‑in, and current locations for commercial and GFE using government identified databases and tracking systems.

Perform lifecycle management roles to determine equipment capabilities versus requirements, identify equipment suitable for validated testing, and assess reliability and maintainability to determine repair significance.

Package and ship items, complying with security requirements, selecting packaging, labeling and documenting, choosing transportation, coordinating carriers, tracking shipments, and clearing customs.

Provide inventory management to maintain stock levels of frequently used materials.

Qualifications

HS/GED with at least 3 years of experience.

TS/SCI Clearance.

Salary

USD $61,303 - $74,502 per year (depending on experience, education, and market conditions).
