MRI Technologist

Please apply through our pipeline requisition here: This pipeline allows the IU Health Talent Acquisition team to connect upcoming and recent diagnostic radiology technologist graduates with opportunities that best align with their unique skills and interests. This is a PRN MRI Technologist position located at IU Health Bloomington. The candidate will help cover PTO and call ins primarily during the week and occasionally on weekends.

Possesses knowledge of MRI safety and safety zones. Ensures the MRI environment remains safe by screening all visitors and team members entering the MRI environment. Displays knowledge of scanning protocols and adjusts to ensure diagnostic images. Performs routine QC and ensures equipment is functioning properly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians. Documents necessary information in EMR. Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning. MRI experience is preferred.

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: May require license from Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), if applicable.

MRI experience is preferred.
