Registered Nurse Neurology Night Shift

Shift Details: 12hr day/night variables (primary days) Shift time: 0530-1800 (days) & 1730-0600 (nocs) Weekend: Every other weekend Holidays: Holiday rotation (as needed, depending on need of the unit)

Float Requirements: Throughout facility within skillset, to all ThedaCare facilities within a 60 mile radius On Call/Call Back Requirements: None Required certifications: WI RN (or compact) License, AHA BLS & NIHSS Minimum Experience Required: 3+ years experience as an RN & 1 travel contract REQUIRED. Any ICU/IMC experience is STRONGLY PREFERRED. Charting Experience: EPIC within the last year (Strongly preferred) Desired Skillset: Experience in stroke and post-op back/spine/cervical Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates

Scrub Colors: Black Primary Cases: Stroke, post op spinal surgeries/brain surgeries Unit Overview: 16 bed unit; Neurology patients; mostly post stroke patients and post-op patients from brain/neck/spine surgeries. Many of our patients are post trauma patients and TBI. We do have medical patients at times as well. Patient Ratios: 1:4 - We typically have between 4-5 RNs on during the shift and 2 patient care technicians.
