Structural Engineering Senior A

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to work in our Structural Engineering team within a growing multidisciplinary team engaged in the design of a variety of building projects, across a number of geographies.

This role can sit in our Houston, Austin, or Dallas office.

You'll also get the opportunity to work on exciting and significant projects across diverse markets, including arts and culture, science, industry, technology, property, and healthcare. Notable projects from our structural team include:

Analyze and design structural elements and systems for steel, concrete, timber and masonry buildings in accordance with building code and design standards.

Perform lateral analyses of structure for seismic and wind loading.

Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines and with architectural teams and contractors.

Review submittals prepared by contractors and respond to requests for information, perform construction site visits to observe the progress of construction.

Communicate our structural engineering designs to our clients and other stakeholders.

Master's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with a sound knowledge of structural engineering fundamentals as they relate to building systems.

• 7+ years related experience in structural design and engineering.
• Interest and experience in Data Center Design and/or Rail market are preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of general analysis and seismic design software (ETABS, SAFE, SAP, etc.)
• Collaboration demands strong communication skills and excellent planning and organizational abilities, which are vital for our fast-paced setting.
