Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
Monitor and manage appropriate resources related to patient care at the unit level
Ensure competency of clinical staff through ongoing oversight and accountability
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience in an IMCU, PCU, or Step-Down clinical setting
Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
Ability to delegate and supervise clinical staff appropriately
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in a cardiovascular, surgical, or medical ICU environment
Familiarity with step-down unit workflows and intermediate care protocols
