Gynecology Oncology Physician - Full Time

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health is seeking to expand current gynecologic oncology services with the addition of a full-time Gynecologic Oncology Attending. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Direct gynecologic oncologic care, including chemotherapy, surgery, and management of complex clinical cases
Gynecologic surgical care, including minimally invasive techniques
Support and consultation to general OBGYN physicians, including difficult benign gynecologic surgical cases
Experience in radiotherapy for gynecologic malignancies
Supervision and teaching to residents and medical students
Ambulatory and inpatient duties

Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Board Certified or Eligible in Gynecology Oncology
Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population a must

Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $506,200** (board eligible) and $516,200** (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $70,200***.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
