Nursing LPN Weekend Shift

LPN Position

FT 3p-11p Mon, Tue, Wed, & Fri or FT 7p-7a (3 shifts per week) and must work every other weekend

5% shift differential (Mon-Thur up-7a) and weekends 10% differential

Qualifications:

Current Florida licensure as an LPN and documentation of successful completion of a pharmacology course and/or examination, plus one year experience in psychiatric nursing and one year experience in medical/surgical nursing. Proven leadership skills. Applicants who receive their licensure while working at PEMHS and who have shown good judgement and initiative may have their experience requirement waived.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit, twist, bend and stand for long periods. Must be able to transport self from building to building and differing locations. Must be able to communicate orally and in writing.

Job Function:

Assists in the implementation of consumer care and administers medications to consumers according to established protocols.

Special Working Conditions:

Exposure to consumers and all possible program emergencies and conditions; to possible irregular and on-call working hours; to a variety of work locations as the need arises.
