LPN and RN Nursing Graduates

Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Responsibilities Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall under supervision of a Registered Nurse, delegating duties and monitoring staff performance.
Observe patients for symptoms or reactions, including physical and mental conditions, to identify adverse changes.
Notify physicians of emergencies and patient deaths, and implement physician orders as instructed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills High school diploma and graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing, with proof of renewal every other year.
Willingness to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies for adequate coverage.
Ability to deliver quality nursing care, follow doctor's orders, and demonstrate interest in geriatric nursing.
Yearly CPR certification and participation in in-service training and staff meetings.
