Customer Service / Food Runner

The Delta Philadelphia Airport Hotel is hiring Food Runners. A Food Runner (or Server Assistant) delivers food from the kitchen to tables quickly and accurately, supporting servers by ensuring prompt service, checking orders, and maintaining table readiness, requiring speed, attention to detail, and good customer service to enhance the dining experience.

Responsibilities

Transport prepared meals and drinks from the kitchen to the correct guest tables.
Double-check order tickets against finished dishes for proper items, presentation, and garnishes.
Set tables, clear used dishes, and ensure tables are clean and ready for new guests.
Assist servers and kitchen staff with tasks like restocking stations and expediting food.
Greet guests, answer basic questions about food, and check in to see if they need anything else.
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work fast and under pressure.
Excellent attention to detail.
Physical stamina to carry trays and stand for long periods.
A positive, customer-focused attitude.
