Paralegal Position
We're seeking a skilled and experienced paralegal to support our growing legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare and maintain legal documents, file motions, interview clients, and conduct legal research. Prepare and draft legal pleadings, discovery, affidavits, motions, and correspondence
Conduct legal research and help prepare attorneys for hearings and trials
Communicate with clients professionally — in person and by phone/email
File documents with courts and ensure procedural compliance
Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits under the guidance of a lawyer
Arrange law office activity such as drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers
Hold client interviews to gather information about their legal problems
Help lawyers prepare for trial by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with client meetings, filing motions, conducting research on legal articles, and organizing and coordinating witnesses
Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls and keeping our case filing system organized so all documents are readily accessible
3+ years of paralegal experience in family law (required)
~ Proficiency with legal case management software and MS Office

ABA-approved paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree
Experience with civil litigation and court procedures
Must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate's degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor's degree desired
At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference
