Healthcare RN (Weekend Shift)

Registered Nurse - Surgery/Operating RoomLocation: Sanford, NCAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule: Shift: 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM Weekend Hours: Every other weekend as needed, with call requirements of six shifts per month and one weekend per month.Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Surgery/Operating Room will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care within a surgical environment. The RN will work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures of all ages.Responsibilities: Assist during surgical procedures by managing patient needs and maintaining a sterile environment. Monitor and assess patient stability before, during, and after surgical interventions. Administer medications and follow established protocols for surgical patients. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and surgical support staff to ensure continuity of care. Document patient progress and surgical outcomes accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure: Active RN license in North Carolina. ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB certifications required prior to start. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a surgical or operating room environment preferred.Why ARMStaffing?
