Position : Hybrid Remote
Service Area : Arkansas and Missouri
Location : The applicant should reside in Southern or Central MO region or be willing to relocate.
JBS Live Pork is looking for a talented Live Pork Veterinarian. This role will be a member of the multiplication region leadership team and responsible for the health of 26,000 sows and their offspring which are producing replacements for the commercial regions.Will possess the ability to interpret and respond to production limiting diseases by developing, training, and executing effective strategies to support the success of the region while working collaboratively with the JBS vet team

Investigate, assess, formulate, and present solutions to address health issues
Conduct routine health checks
Implement treatment and vaccination strategies
Ensure regulatory compliance
Diagnostic testing and interpretation of results
Biosecurity compliance monitoring
Schedule and conduct health related technical training such as postmortem labs, biosecurity training, and vaccination training
Required Qualifications: DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) from an accredited school
Eligible for veterinary licensure and USDA accreditation in Missouri, and Arkansas.
Potentail candidates are required to be fluent speaking and writing in English.
In addition to English, the ability to speak Spanish is beneficial and preferred.
Working Conditions/Environment: General: Both climate-controlled office and environmentally controlled confined livestock facilities.
During summer months outside temperatures can be over 100 degrees for the entire scheduled workday.
During winter months outside temperatures can be below zero for the entire scheduled workday.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather), occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions, occasionally exposed to extreme heat (non-weather), occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock, occasionally exposed to vibration.
