Phlebotomy/Phlebotomist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and assist with a variety of patient care tasks. The role involves working with a diverse patient population ranging from adults to geriatrics and supporting extended scope duties to facilitate comprehensive outpatient care.

Key Responsibilities

Room patients and take vital signs accurately.

Perform venipuncture procedures safely and efficiently.

Assist with non-blood specimen collection and other clinical tasks as needed.

Conduct EKGs/ECGs, administer vaccines, and perform ear lavages.

Perform PPD tests, swabs, and point of care testing as required.

Maintain proper documentation and ensure patient comfort and safety.

Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 6 months of venipuncture experience (excluding school or externship experience).

Ability to work with adult to geriatric patient populations.

Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with extended scope duties preferred but not required.
