We are seeking a Vascular Technician PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. As a Vascular Technologist, you are responsible for performing ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in all areas of ultrasound. You will operate ultrasound equipment to provide and document accurate and quality sonographic studies of normal and abnormal anatomy. You will perform ultrasound exams including Abdominal, OB, GYN, Small Parts, Prostates, and Vascular Scans. You will produce scans of optimal diagnostic quality on patients ranging from Neonatal to Geriatric

You will relay to Radiologist any relevant patient information

You will complete required documentation on forms, logs and in computer

You will obtain all pertinent patient history, and relay it to the Radiologist to assist in diagnosis or treatment

You will clean exam tables and restock Ultrasound supplies as needed or used

One year experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer

One year experience as a Radiologic Technologist - preferred

A single two-year allied health education program that is patient-care related OR Graduate of a program accredited by an agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), United States Department of Education (USDOE) or Canadian Medical Association (CMA), that specifically conducts programmatic accreditation for diagnostic medical sonography/diagnostic cardiac sonography/vascular technology

Associates degree or higher in related technological field - preferred

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credentials with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), post- primary certification in Sonography – preferred
• Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist with the Texas Medical Board - preferred
