Part - Time Nocturnist

Intermountain Health seeks a Nocturnist Critical Care physician to join a team of experienced intensivists at LDS Hospital, a 262-bed Level II Certified Stroke Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role supports advanced therapies for complex critically ill patients in a 16-bed mixed medical/surgical ICU.

Practicing at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah

5–6 night shifts per 4‑week cycle (part‑time, 0.5 FTE)

Providing care for medical, general surgery, trauma, hematologic malignancies, and bone marrow transplant patients

Working within a shared‑services critical care model supported by advanced practice providers

Potential for up to 0.5 FTE nocturnist tele‑critical care support

Participating in a flexible schedule that includes overnight coverage

15,000 starting bonus

Up to $10,000 relocation bonus (if applicable)

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school

Residency training in Internal Medicine

Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine

Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or ability to obtain one

Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
