HR Generalist - Full-time Hourly position

About the Role The Human Resources Coordinator will directly report to the Manager, Human Resources and support day‑to‑day operations of our HR team. The role focuses on smooth onboarding and offboarding, recruitment and internship programs, and employee engagement and culture initiatives. This full‑time position requires on‑site presence in our Calabasas office.
Responsibilities Recruitment: Open and close job requisitions, schedule and conduct interviews, communicate with candidates, coordinate offers, maintain a high‑quality candidate experience, participate in virtual job fairs, and support the full‑time recruitment team.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate new‑hire orientation and building tours, ensure timely completion of the onboarding process, audit new‑hire data, manage offboarding steps, send exit surveys, and conduct exit interviews.
Total Rewards: Produce internal company events and activities, assist with benefits administration during onboarding and open enrollment, and support social and culture initiatives.
Administrative Support: Coordinate assets and materials for HR communications, schedule and coordinate department meetings, take notes, interview and train staff, audit and organize employee life‑cycle files, track and monitor tasks and projects, liaise with HR and IT, support the facilities team and internship program, and prepare presentation materials for training sessions.
Additional Responsibilities: Support recruiting, training, and onboarding of employees and partnering teams, handle special projects and tasks as assigned, and travel (economy) as needed.
Qualifications 2+ years of experience in HR or a related support role.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Experience supporting recruitment coordination, onboarding, offboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
Experience managing multiple concurrent HR processes in a high‑volume or fast‑paced environment.
Familiarity with HRIS systems and office productivity tools, with Workday, Timeclock Plus, and ADP Vantage as a plus.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proven ability to execute administrative processes accurately and completely.
Customer‑service oriented, collaborative mindset, proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and comfortable learning new software tools.
Motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude, team player, problem solver, and adaptable.
Work Environment Must tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments.
Must lift up to 50 lbs (chairs, tables, etc.).
May work in drastic temperature climates.
Willing to travel to work during holidays, evenings, and weekend hours as required.
Compensation Hiring Hourly Range: $22.00 - $27.00/hour. The estimate is based on a successful California applicant; compensation may vary for positions outside California.
