This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days in the office and the option of two remote workdays each week.

Play a critical role in case preparation by obtaining medical records through authorizations and subpoenas, ensuring timely follow-ups with providers.

Maintain and streamline case data with well-structured discovery and records organizational charts to enhance efficiency.

Conduct vital research by issuing Public Records Requests and performing background investigations to support litigation strategy.

Analyze and summarize medical records summaries and medical treatment chronologies that provide crucial case insights.

Draft and prepare answers to Complaints. Support attorneys in depositions and discovery by summarizing transcripts, managing key documents, and ensuring timely follow-ups on requests.

Manage and prepare document productions efficiently by reviewing, analyzing, and organizing files from insured.

Communicate with client and claim representatives to ensure timely completion of discovery requests.

Prepare and organize materials for expert witness review, ensuring they have the necessary documentation for case assessments.

Keep case files impeccably organized and accessible, ensuring a smooth workflow for attorneys and litigation teams.

Provide comprehensive trial preparation support, including deposition designations, witness and exhibit management, preparation of pretrial materials, and coordination of trial logistics.

Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal Certificate preferred.

4+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a strong preference for those with insurance defense experience.

Demonstrated experience billing time as a paralegal, with an understanding of law-firm billing practices and expectations.

Exceptional writing and communication skills, ensuring clarity in documentation and correspondence.

Proven ability to draft written discovery and maintain detailed records of received documents.

Highly organized and detailed-oriented, with a keen ability to manage large volumes of case materials.

Tech-savvy with sophisticated technical skills, including proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.

A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses.
