Process Engineering Positions

Essity Health and Medical Solutions is currently seeking a Process Engineer for our manufacturing facility in Manchester, CT.

Drive Process Excellence: Design, monitor, and continuously improve manufacturing processes using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data-driven methodologies.

Define, implement, and sustain robust process settings, standards, and systems that ensure consistent, high-quality output.

Support new product and material development through Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and lead successful project implementation.

Conduct deep root cause analysis (RCA) to solve complex process and equipment issues—turning insights into sustainable solutions.

Optimize Performance: Identify and implement improvements that increase equipment uptime, reduce cycle times, and boost overall efficiency.

Train and mentor operations teams, building capability and reinforcing best practices and standards.

Contribute to key pillars including Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Planned Maintenance (PM), and Focused Improvement (FI) to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

Bachelor of Science in Engineering strongly preferred or significant experience in an engineering role.

3+ years of relevant experience (Manufacturing/Assembly Engineering, Quality) with a strong background in process engineering, manufacturing, or continuous improvement.

Proven ability to solve problems using data and structured analysis.

Passion for coaching teams and driving behavioral and cultural change.

Demonstrated technical proficiency in complex manufacturing/assembly activities.

Demonstrated proficiency leading and managing a portfolio of cross‑functional projects.

Six Sigma project leadership/management/coaching experience preferred.

Proficiency in statistics, data analytics, DOE, and multivariate statistics.

75,000 – $90,000 annual salary range + annual incentive bonus + benefits.
