Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the POS system and send them to the appropriate stations

See to each guest's special needs, including any allergies or dietary restrictions

Serve food and beverages to guests, preparing and garnishing dishes as directed

Create quality beverages consistently by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards

verify minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages

Maintain products in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages

Maintain revenue by preparing checks that itemize total costs + sales taxes and collect accurate payment from guests

Properly wash and sterilize glassware, utensils, and equipment

Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns; inform your immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessary

Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good, safe working condition and report all equipment problems to management

Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the efficient operation of the outlet, as directed by the outlet manager

You have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

You have a state-issued food handling + beverage certifications as required

You have 6+ months of related cafe or hospitality experience preferred

You can read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

You can navigate and operate a computer and Point of Sale (POS) systems
