Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 | Weekdays and Weekends (3 weekends per 4-week period) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed Medical Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities
Manage a patient assignment of 5–7 patients per shift in accordance with unit staffing ratios
Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings using Cerner EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in West Virginia or a valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Minimum of 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from within the past 2 years required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working on a Medical Surgical unit with telemetry patients
Familiarity with travel nursing assignments and associated compliance requirements
