We are looking for a highly motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Barista! The ideal candidate will provide world-class customer service by delivering timely and friendly coffee bar service, suggestive selling, maintaining product presentation standards, and maintaining coffee bar cleanliness. The position is located within the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center at our Starbucks kiosk called STEAM. Shift starts at 5:45 am to 1 pm (Sun - Thur.) from 5:45 am to 8 pm Friday & Saturday. Nighttime availability a plus. Must have Weekends & Holiday availability.
Above all, the Barista must provide exceptional guest service to every guest, every time!
Provide outstanding service by taking orders, offering menu recommendations, and ensuring accurate delivery of food and beverages.
Knowledge of Starbucks coffee/ beverages and accurate preparation of beverages
Processing transactions (cash, credit card and room charge) in the POS system
completing all paperwork associated with closing cashier at the end of the shift
Maintaining knowledge of the property and local events in order to answer guest inquiries.
Six months previous experience as a Barista is a definite plus, especially if it was a Starbucks.
A love for coffee that translates into an infectious enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge with guests.
Flexibility in scheduling to include early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
