Hybrid work schedule

· Sophisticated work in a collegial legal group

Work with outside counsel on all aspects of defending claims against member firms brought under the company’s professional liability, employment practices liability, and management liability policies

• Study claims histories and conduct analysis for recovery potential on claims against member firms
• Provide legal analysis, research, and guidance on legal questions and issues
• Stay abreast of legal and insurance-related regulatory developments and counsel management regarding impacts and changes
• Train staff on regulatory and compliance procedures
• Evaluate and monitor matters reported under company policies for reserve determinations
• Assist with evaluation of potential new member firms as well as periodic reviews of their claims history
• Travel (a few days per month) required

8 or more years of experience as a litigation partner at a sophisticated law firm or in-house equivalent
