Lab Tech / Biologist

Biologist II - 3-5 years

The main responsibilities of a Biologist II involve pre-clinical sample analysis using a ligand binding assay. Sample and reagent management using electronic tools such as Laboratory Information Management System (rLIMS) and others. Sample preparation and analysis utilizing hybrid manual and automated systems to generate high quality bioanalytical data. Reporting results to project teams which enable Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamic analysis.Data archiving in ELN and LIMS.

• Effectively communicate experimental plan and results orally and in writing. Contribute to technical report writing and day-to-day lab operations.
• Sample management and sample data QC in LIMS.
• BS or MS degree in biology, chemistry, or pharmacology.
• 3-5 years of pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry experience.
• Attention to detail, experience performing lab testing, independent, and self-motivated.
• Ability to properly use common lab tools such as pipettes.
• Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment independently.
• Experience with lab automation is highly desirable.
• Experience in data driven troubleshooting is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to draft technical reports.
• Proficiency with computers and data analysis software including Excel and LIMS
• Experience working independently in an industry laboratory environment.

Experience performing Ligand Binding assays using MSD platform or ELISA

Demonstrated proficiency using general laboratory instruments and equipment, centrifuge, and pipets for example.About US Tech Solutions:
