Glazier Apprentice
Omni Glass & Paint is hiring a full-time Glazier Apprentice to join our skilled construction team in Oshkosh, WI. Since 1967, we've built a strong reputation across Wisconsin for quality commercial glass installation in schools, hospitals, office buildings, storefronts, and more. This full-time apprenticeship offers steady work, competitive pay, on-the-job training, and long-term advancement opportunities. You'll work alongside experienced Glaziers, gaining hands-on skills while contributing to a variety of commercial construction projects.
Gain knowledge and ability to install a variety of framing systems from storefront to curtain wall
- Assist in glazing a variety of substrates including glass and composite paneling
- Assist in the installation of both residential and commercial (small and large) applications
- Communicate with supervisor, project managers, customers and co-workers
- Help in fabrication shop, as needed
- Travel throughout the state for the duration of projects
- High school diploma or equivalent - Required
- Commercial glass installation, construction or carpentry experience - Preferred
- Ability to meet attendance requirements, including overtime as needed - Required
- High School diploma or equivalent - Required
- Ability to read architectural blueprints, drawing and specifications and follow instructions - Preferred
