TRC is looking for a ROW/Land - Project Manager for a long-term project in Ohio.
The Right of Way Land Manager serves a major role in field operations, providing critical functions related to internal and external relationships, human resource management, development, as well as management of departmental and project budgets, and overall management of an adverse portfolio of projects situated across the country.
Provides strong leadership and management skills consistent with TRC core values. Oversees or performs the development and documentation of business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications in collaboration with customers, team members, and support staff.
Creates project plans and provides estimates for the iterations of each project.
Manages a portfolio of projects and clients.
Develops, trains, and mentors project teams in all phases of a project.
Creates and executes effective project execution strategies that align with TRC and client values.
Develops mitigation plans in response to unique project environments.
Ensures practices comply with regulatory requirements.
Assists the Land Director with creating and managing departmental budget for assigned territory.
Assists the Land Director with creating and implementing project specific procedures, preparation of estimates, schedules, and client/project deliverables.
Participates in regular Project Controls meetings and reports on profitability.
Oversees all land aspects of a project, including regulatory planning, routing, survey permission/coordination, title, acquisition, eminent domain, construction, reclamation, and project closeout.
Serves on industry committees and association groups, regulatory forums, workshops, and organizational committees, within the energy industry and within TRC.
initiates and supports quality management activities and performance management measures to provide the highest quality products and services.
Attends sales meetings serving as technical expert.
Utilizes TRC and client technology to efficiently manage projects.
Manages direct reports, including administration, onboarding and orientation, timesheet, and expense approvals.
A bachelor's degree in real estate, Business, Management, or a related field, or applicable experience.
7-10 years related experience is required with a minimum of 3-5 years in senior management.
Experience writing and responding to proposal requests, inclusive of creating a project budget and a land acquisition budget.
Experience in linear project management (pipeline, electric transmission line).
Demonstrated ability in leadership, team building, time management, building collaborative environments, accountability, and problem solving.
Strong project management skills demonstrated by the ability to develop and implement effective workflow processes.
Possesses intermediate or better skills in Microsoft Office and Land Management database applications.
Experience developing and mentoring a team with a focus on succession planning.
Demonstrated skills in conflict management and organizational problem-solving.
Job may require travel up to 75%, with project-specific assignments possibly requiring higher travel expectations.
Job may require flexible working hours to include evenings and weekend.
Energy Sector, Oil & Gas, Power, and/or Utility, Wind and Solar experience.
PMP certification or enrolled in the certification class.
Current/Recent Experience as a Right of Way Land Manager in Land Project Management.

In accordance with local law, the salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
