Urgent Lead Janitor Needed

Lead CustodianThe job of Lead Custodian was established for the purpose of maintaining attractive, sanitary and safe facilities for students, staff and public; providing equipment and furniture arrangements for meetings, classroom activities and events; minimizing property damage, loss and liability exposure; coordinating the building and grounds maintenance needs with central maintenance personnel; and overseeing and supporting assigned personnel in the performance of their job functions.Skills, knowledge and abilities required to perform the functions of the job include: operating equipment used in industrial maintenance including electrical cleaning equipment, common tools, etc.; adhering to safety practices; performing basic math; reading a variety of manuals; writing documents following prescribed formats; understanding complex, multi-step written and oral instructions; methods of industrial cleaning; safety practices and procedures; health standards and hazards; principles of lead supervision and training; scheduling activities, meetings, and events; gathering, collating, and classifying data; problem solving with data and equipment; adapting to changing work priorities; communicating with diverse groups; meeting deadlines and schedules; working as part of a team; and working with constant interruptions.Major responsibilities and duties include: arranging equipment and furnishings; assembling furniture and equipment; assisting in snow removal; assisting in training assigned employees; cleaning assigned facilities; coordinating activities; inspecting school or district facilities; maintaining manual and electronic documents, files and records; maintaining supplies, equipment and vehicles; opening and/or securing facilities; overseeing assigned personnel; performing routine grounds keeping duties; performing routine preventative maintenance tasks; preparing written materials; procuring supplies and equipment; repairing fixtures and equipment; responding to immediate safety and/or operational concerns; reviewing the work of assigned employees; submitting budget requests; and transporting various items to schools or other sites.Education: Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency.Physical: The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 10% sitting, 45% walking, and 45% standing. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and under conditions with exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
