Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Transplant Unit – Wisconsin Start Date: October 2026
Location: Wisconsin

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 4x12 schedule available. Every other weekend and holiday rotation required. Patient ratio of 4:1.

Requirements
Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years required
Epic charting system experience required
BLS certification required (AHA only)
Telemetry experience and interpretation of dysrhythmias required
Must pass telemetry competency exam prior to start (80% passing score; 100% accuracy on lethal rhythms)
Trauma Level I experience preferred
Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Key Clinical Skills
Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing
Central line and PICC line management
Blood product administration and heparin/insulin protocols
BiPAP/CPAP management and oxygen administration
Pre/post hemodialysis management and renal failure care
Transplant-specific patient care and education
Management and interpretation of cardiac dysrhythmias
Wound care, surgical drain management, and ostomy care
PCA pump management and IV therapy

Additional Information
Floating to other units may be required as needed. This travel nursing position requires passing a rigorous telemetry competency examination with specific criteria including 100% identification of lethal rhythms and no errors on third-degree heart block questions. Travelers will have up to three attempts with remediation requirements between attempts two and three.
