As an Underwriter at Biz2Credit, Miami Location, you will play a vital role in evaluating loan applications and assisting with the underwriting process.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive financial analysis on small businesses, including trend and ratio analysis. Your expertise will be crucial in interpreting financial information to assess credit quality and cash flow, enabling us to make informed lending decisions.

Review loan applications and supporting documentation to determine eligibility and creditworthiness of borrowers.

Analyze financial statements, credit reports, tax returns, and other relevant data to assess risk and make informed lending decisions.

Collaborate with the Underwriting team to identify potential red flags and mitigate risk.

Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory in finance, accounting, or a related field

Previous experience in underwriting, credit analysis, or a similar role is preferred.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.

Familiarity with financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports.

Knowledge of underwriting principles, lending regulations, and risk assessment methodologies.

Proficient in using MS Office suite and other relevant software applications.
