Electronic Health Record Informaticist

Christopher's Hospital for Children and works onsite on a hybrid schedule at St. Entry-level Clinical Informaticist works independently under the general direction and reports to an Application Systems Manager. This role collaborates at a high level and maintains a working relationship with individual Tower Health facilities clinical leadership and Reading Hospital Nursing Informatics.

The Clinical Informatics Coordinator is responsible to provide expertise and support in the evaluation, planning, design, development, implementation, training, maintenance and ongoing support of clinical applications. This role works closely with clinicians, facility/departmental leadership, Quality, Patient Safety, Nursing Informatics, and Information Technology to clarify needs, prioritize requests, advise on technology design, workflow/process redesign, and support change to the enterprise electronic health record and other clinical systems.

Has an advanced knowledge of the Epic platform for clinical applications, serves as a facility Epic Credentialed Trainer. Advanced independent interaction with clients and the ability to demonstrate critical thinking and service-oriented follow-through. Advanced understanding of the associated workflow requirements needed to enhance direct patient care, achieve and maintain federal incentives/standards along with outcomes related to patient safety and quality initiatives. Responsible for establishing credibility at all levels and building partnerships with customers and colleagues.
