Warehouse StaffPart Time – HourlyNon-benefittedThe Warehouse Staff supports event operations through hands-on tasks related to event preparation, equipment pulls, and maintenance of Chowgirls warehouse inventory and its spaces, facilities, and vehicles as directed. The Warehouse Staff reports to the Warehouse Manager.Equipment & Inventory ManagementMaintain a clear understanding of warehouse inventory locations and organization systemsInterpret and apply details from Event Worksheets, Timelines, and Warehouse Task Lists to support event executionEnsure cleanliness and organization of all warehouse areasHandle all equipment with care to maintain condition and longevityAccurately return clean equipment to designated storage locations post-eventMonitor and dispose of waste, compost, and recycling as neededClean and polish serviceware in preparation for eventsReceive and verify incoming operational deliveries; sign off as appropriateCommunicate inventory discrepancies, damages, or breakages to the Warehouse Manager promptlyUnderstand equipment needs for each event and assist in preparing complete and accurate pullsInspect all outgoing equipment for functionality and presentation qualityEvent SupportAssist with equipment load-outs and returns as scheduledPick up and return event rentals, ensuring accurate counts during both pick-up and drop-offReset event kits to standard par levels following eventsSupport other departments and cross-functional tasks as directedVehicle & Facility MaintenanceDrive, refuel, and clean company vehicles as assignedAssist with equipment pre-drops and pickups at event sitesParticipate in regular inventory counts of equipment and disposable suppliesServe as Headquarters MOD (Manager on Duty) as scheduled by the Warehouse ManagerAbility and willingness to obtain DOT certification, if required, to operate certain company vehiclesJob RequirementsValid Driver's LicenseKnowledge and experience in events and/or serviceAbility to multi-task and complete a task list with minimal directionAvailable to work a flexible schedule that may include early morning shifts (as early as 4:00 AM), evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needsAbility to see larger scope of duties/big pictureAbility to lift 50 pounds, use ladders, and be on your feet for 8 hours at a timeCommunicationProactively communicate work and personal schedule through SlackAttend and actively participate in all required company meetingsRespond to internal and external communications within 12 hoursPresent a professional positive attitude among coworkers, vendors, and clientsFacilitate information flows throughout workplaceMaintain availability for communication by phone, Slack, and emailHuman ResourcesMaintain employee privacy at all timesKeep all Chowgirls information confidential, including internal documents, policies, procedures, recipes, and customer/venue/vendor informationAlways promote Chowgirls in a positive light at the office and in the communityPresent a positive and professional attitude and appearance at all times when representing Chowgirls on social media and at all eventsCultureCultivate general knowledge of Chowgirl's handbook, history, values, and visionGuide peers and Chowgirls forward by sharing identified strengths or skill areas of specializationCommit to professional development, building a broad portfolio of skills and increasing mastery of current skillsUphold Chowgirls' commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and AccessibilitModel highest standards of leadership and customer service
